Acutonic 2018
I moved to Routt county in 2016 and the very first thing I got to do was experience a free concert at Howelson Hill. That was a turning point in my mind for what would eventually manifest itself into Yampa Valley Entertainment. Venues like Old Town Pub, Schmiggities, Strings Music Pavilion, and the bases of Mount Werner and Howelson Hill became new homes to me and I started to think about how I wanted to join the entertainment industry and be a bigger part of all of this. Old Town Pub was the first to give me a opportunity to start learning how to set a stage and work with artists to put on great shows. Next was Strings Music Pavilion. Starting as a stage hand, then stage manager and eventually an assistant production manager. Once my freelance work for one of the largest live audio production companies in Colorado took off, I knew I could start my own operation. Yampa Valley Entertainments first big project was teaming up with a local non profit venue and organizing a Winter Concert Series for the town of Hayden Colorado. Next was a Summer Concert Series, then the town of Hayden hired us to handle their largest annual event Hayden Daze. Today Yampa Valley Entertainment continues to produce annual events for local government, employee appreciation events, fund raisers and more. After recently completing an Accelerated Growth Course with the Small Business District of Colorado, we have purchased our first professional stage and plan on putting that to use June of 2023.
Our goal is to provide quality professional entertainment and production to Northwest Colorado.
